Select A Candidate is an online game created by American Public Media which allows you to respond to a variety of the questions Presidential candidates are being asked. You choose the response that best fits your opinion and rank the importance of that particular issue to them. Based on your responses and the responses of all major party candidates, the game reflects back to you which candidates most closely fit your values. In addition to identifying which candidate best reflects your opinions, Select A Candidate displays all the candidates and the points on which you agree or disagree with each candidate's platform. The game also displays cumulative results from all users and research citations for each stated position. This game does not tell you how to vote, but introduces you to each candidate and that candidate's position on issues important to you. The "Candidate Position" section of the game provides an excellent documented summary of the positions of all major party candidates on today's issues. The game also contains instructions and "Frequently Asked Questions" about how the scoring, questions, ranking and data collection works.
